Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival

Transfer from Reykjavik to Tindasel Lodge(approx. 1hr and 30 minuites). Enjoy a welcome dinner and settle in your accommodation. Unwind and relax in the outdoor spa in the evening or enjoy a nice hike in the surrounding area.

Day 2 - 3 Activities
Hiking in the surrounding area

Tindasel Lodge, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Iceland, offers a variety of hiking paths that cater to adventurers of all skill levels. Whether you're seeking a challenging ascent to a mountain summit or a leisurely stroll through pristine wilderness, the hiking paths around Tindasel Lodge promise unforgettable experiences amidst Iceland's natural splendor.

Buggy Adventure & Hiking(3-5 hours)

Starting from our base at Tindasel Lodge you will start heading off the main road. After a short briefing where your guide will go through our safety procedures, gear up in a whole suit/overalls, helmet and start your buggy adventure. In this buggy tour you will get familiar with the untouched Icelandic Nature on your way driving through lava fields on mountain roads admiring the stunning landscape. You will make stops along the way for pictures and to enjoy some warm chocolate and set up lunch in nature. This buggy tour is combined with a hiking tour that will be adjusted to your fitness level and interests.Enjoy this unique experience before heading back to Tindasel Lodge where you will enjoy a nice dinner and unwind for the night in our outdoor spa.

South Shore Jeep Tour(8-10 hours)

Exploring the South Shore of Iceland on a winter jeep tour is an exhilarating adventure that offers a unique perspective on the country's stunning landscapes, dramatic coastlines, and iconic natural attractions. Here's what you can expect from a winter jeep tour on the South Shore:

  • - Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss Waterfalls:You will visit Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, two of Iceland's most famous waterfalls. In winter, these cascades often freeze partially, creating stunning ice formations that add to their beauty. The jeep will navigate through snow-covered terrain, offering opportunities for up-close views of these majestic waterfalls.

  • - Black Sand Beaches of Reynisfjara:Visit Reynisfjara, a world-renowned black sand beach near the village of Vík. Here, you can marvel at the towering basalt columns of Reynisdrangar and the roaring waves of the North Atlantic Ocean. In winter, the contrast between the black sand, white waves, and snow-capped cliffs creates a mesmerizing scene.

  • - Dyrhólaey Peninsula:Stop at Dyrhólaey, a promontory renowned for its panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and sea stacks. In winter, the cliffs of Dyrhólaey are often adorned with icicles, adding to the dramatic beauty of the landscape. Keep an eye out for seabirds.

  • - Local farm visit: True to the Icelandic heritage, one of our most authentic and best experiences is our local farm visit, where you get familiar with the Icelandic farm life and enjoy a cup of coffee and Icelandic pancakes with the locals, experiencing the countryside at its core. By visiting the local farm you will experience the country’s deep heritage of farming. Our farmers are hard working, good hearted people.

Northern Lights Hunt

Head out in the evening in search of the Northern Lights and the exclusive opportunity to see them dancing in the sky above you while enjoying warm refreshments and in a secret spot away from all light pollution. Experience this one in a lifetime adventure!

Day 4 - Departure

On the last day enjoy a nice breakfast before your transfer back to Reykjavik or Keflavik Airport

All the activities are guided group trips and start with full safety instructions.

The buggy tour is based on 2-4 persons per buggy. Our buggies are the sharpest way to get from A to B, on any terrain, in any weather, fully-loaded or not. A Can-Am vehicle that has everything you need to rule your next adventures in Iceland. We offer both 2-seat or 4-seat buggies for all our tours.

Minimum age of 18 years and a valid driving license is required to drive a buggy

Please note that the above itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the activity providers for reasons of safety or other unforeseen circumstances. Any alternative arrangements will be made so that they are as similar to the original program as possible.

Children and extra beds

Children are welcome all year around. However, for safety reason, infants between 0-2 years old, can not participate in any activities. Children are welcome Kids stay free! Children stay free when using existing bedding; children may not be eligible for complimentary breakfast Rollaway/extra beds are available for 25 USD per night.

Cancellation

This reservation can be cancelled without costs until 30 days before arrival. In such case the amount paid will be refunded within 7 days after cancellation was submitted. If cancellation is submitted after this time or guest will not show at all, the property will charge 100% of the reservation value. It is required to provide credit card information or make the payment of 100% of the reservation value to guarantee the reservation.
